ERP Project Manager - St. Charles, MO

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for the end to end management and coordination of multiple projects and all project management activities and deliverables required to achieve the project objectives. They will design a comprehensive strategy to achieve successful project outcomes through managing scope, time and costs, quality, communications, risk and change management functions. They will lead efforts in supporting and advancing business applications and technology portfolio including ERP implementations.

Job functions include -

  • Determines scope of the project, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities and monitors progress for the delivery of ERP implementations and other IT solutions.
  • Understand project requirements and designs a comprehensive strategy for achieving successful outcome of the project.
  • Drive project execution activities from initiation through post go-live support
  • Authoring and maintaining clear, concise project documentation
  • Active listener with ability to communicate with all team members (internal & external) including project management concepts, value statements, and high level technical concepts.
  • Coaches and develops selected staff to form a project team. Manages performance; recognizing achievement and providing feedback. Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Build relationships/alliances with vendors, department leadership, and project teams.
  • Lead risk and change management
  • Provide Project QA and performance monitoring
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal project management practices and the emerging PMO office.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Positive, proactive, ownership attitude. The ability to self-teach and work with vendors/developers and users is essential.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Project and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with using Lean Six Sigma problem solving methods and tools is desired.
  • Project Management Certification (minimum of working towards completion of PMI certification) is desired

Experience and Education Requirements:
Four (4) to six (6) years related experience or training and Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university. Major(s): Business, Technology, or related.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel required: Up to 10%, domestic and international
  • Schedule requirements: Monday – Friday, flexible schedule allowed. Limited weekends may be required as needed to support special projects.
